BELTON, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's tennis team earned a 5-4 win against the University of St. Thomas (Texas) Friday in Belton.
No. 1 doubles team
Nicolas Cusano and
Joaquim Fernandes and No. 2 doubles team BT White and
Ethan Kittredge opened the match with 8-4 wins in their respective lines. White followed that with a win at No. 3 singles before
Santiago Marin Suarez won the Cru's fourth point at No. 4 singles.
Spencer Hornbeck clinched the match for the Cru, earning a 1-6, 6-4, 6-1 win at No. 6 singles.
UMHB returns to action on Thursday, February 16
th in a 4 p.m. match at Southwestern University in Georgetown.
