Jack Bruner has been named the American Southwest Conference Football Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending September 3
rd.
Bruner, a sophomore from Wimberley, went three-for-three in field goals last week with a pair of 37-yard kicks and one 40-yarder. Bruner added one PAT with seven kickoffs for 407 total yards. He added five punts for 188 yards and totaled 10 points for the Cru.
UMHB returns to action this week against No. 5 Trinity University in San Antonio. The Cru kicks off against the Tigers at 6:00 p.m. Admission to the game is free.
