KINGSLAND, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team earned a win at The Legends Cup Tuesday in Kingsland, carding a 301-303=604 (+28) to win by 16 strokes.
Camryn Kiser carded a 74 (+2) in her final round to tie for first place individually at 146 (+2). Kiser earned the individual win with a victory on the third playoff hole.
Avery Hill finished third, shooting a 74 (+2) in the second round to finish at 147 (+3) on the tournament. Hill totaled 14 pars in her Tuesday round, adding one birdie.
Izzy Crow moved up two places with a 75 (+3) in her second round, placing her in fifth overall.
Lexie Manriquez also moved in after her second round, carding a 77 (+5) to finish seventh at +10 on the tournament.
Brooke Norman finished tournament action in 11
th with +11, followed by
Emma Iles in 16
th with a +14.
Karlee Holcomb (+16) and
Allie Ebbeler (+18) also finished in the top 25 while
Payton Cox,
Grace Williams and
Brynn Williams also competed for the Cru.
UMHB shot a 303 (+15) in the second round to keep the top spot. Our Lady of the Lake remained in second with a 310 (+22), finishing at 320 (+44). Hardin-Simmons remained in third with a 307(+19) to card a tournament-total 622 (+46). UMHB's B Team broke their fourth-place tie, finishing at 633 (+57) followed by East Texas Baptist in fifth at 635 (+59). Southwestern (+62), Schreiner (+85), Millsaps (+89) and McMurry (+114) also competed in the tournament.
