Connor Zamiara named to CSC Academic All-District Team

BELTON, Texas - University of Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomore Connor Zamiara has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team, released Tuesday.
 
Zamiara, a center from Rochester, NY, boasts a 3.85 grade-point average as an exercise and sport science major at UMHB. Zamiara played in 25 games for the Cru with nine starts on the season. He averaged 17.8 minutes per contest, scoring 91 total points. Zamiara added 95 rebounds, 19 assists, 10 steals and eight blocks on the year.
 
This is the first CSC Academic All-District honor for Zamiara. UMHB went 17-10 in the 2023-24 season, advancing to the American Southwest Conference championship game.
