BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor senior
BJ Stewart has been named American Southwest Conference Special Teams Player of the Week for the week ending November 2
nd.
Stewart, a wide receiver from Shreveport, totaled 308 yards in returns last week. He tallied 112 yards on five punt returns with one a 61-yard touchdown. Stewart also had a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, becoming the only player in UMHB history to score on both a punt return and a kickoff return in the same contest.
UMHB returns to action on Saturday, November 8
th in a 1 p.m. contest against Hardin-Simmons University at Crusader Stadium in Belton.
