BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor senior
Rachel Okoye has been named American Southwest Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending November 30
th.
Okoye, a guard from Houston, totaled 36 points over two games last week. She had 11 points with six rebounds against Concordia Texas, adding a double-double with 15 points and 11 boards against Texas Lutheran. Okoye added 10 assists, eight steals and one block on the week, going 9-for-9 in free throws.
UMHB returns to action on Wednesday, December 3
rd in a 5 p.m. contest against Schreiner University at the Mayborn Campus Center in Belton.
