BELTON, Texas - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's golf team finished fourth at the Space City Classic Tuesday in Houston.
UMHB finished fourth in the tournament, shooting a 295-297-289=881 (+29).
Jack Workman and
Grant Carter were the top Crusaders finishing tied for 10th at +5.
Jack Workman shot a 69-77-72=218 and carded 14 birdies.
Grant Carter shot a 72-76-71=218 and carded 10 birdies for the tournament.
Kyle Wandel tied for 19th shooting a 73-74-77=224 (+11).
Trey Archer and
Evan Acevedo tied for 33rd. Archer shot an 81-76-71=228 (+15) while Acevedo finished with an 81-71-76=228 (+15). The field included 56 golfers with UMHB finishing top three in par-3 scoring, par-4 scoring and eagles
Trinity University won the tournament shooting a 288-285-286=859 (+7). LeTourneau University followed in second at +11 while University of St. Thomas (TX) finished third at +27. UMHB (+29) and Willamette (+30) rounded out the top five in a field of 11 teams.
UMHB returns to action at the Linda Lowery Invitational at Teravista Golf Club in Round Rock, Tx March 24-25.
