2023-24: Played in six tournaments … Academic All-ASC … shot season-low 70 (-2) at California State Intercollegiate … recorded three top-20 finishes.
2022-23: Academic All-ASC … competed in seven tournaments … shot a season-low 71 (-1) at The Battle … recorded a stroke average of 75.67.
Kyle is a political science major at UMHB. He played golf and basketball at Horizon High School, where he was a two-time MVP. Kyle was also a four-time all-district selection and earned all-state honors. He also collected four academic all-district awards. Kyle also participated in Freshman Mentorship, Asian Awareness Club and Chess Club. He currently serves as president of the UMHB Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Kyle is the son of Larry and Melinda Wandel.
