BROWNWOOD, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team won the 2025 American Southwest Championship Sunday in Brownwood, carding a final-round 310 to finish at 907 (+43).
Izzy Crow won the individual title with a 226 (+10) to finish at the top.
Camryn Kiser moved up seven spaces on the final day of action, shooting even-par 72 to come in second at 227 (+11).
Avery Hill finished fifth with a 230 (+14), followed by
Emma Iles and
Karlee Holcomb both tied for eighth at 233 (+17).
Allie Ebbeler finished the tournament at 234 (+18), placing all six Crusaders in the top 10 finishing slots.
UMHB shot a 299-289-310=907 (+43) to earn the program's 14th conference title and first since 2022. UC Santa Cruz finished second with a 920 (+56), shooting a 313 (+25) in the final round. East Texas Baptist came in third with a 958 (+94), followed by LeTourneau at 963 (+99) and Hardin-Simmons at 975 (+111).
UMHB led the field in par-3 scoring (+17), par-4 scoring (+67) and par-5 scoring (+3). The Cru also carded a tournament-high 33 birdies and 193 pars.
Emma Iles led all athletes in par-3 scoring at E, followed by
Izzy Crow with a lead in par-4 scoring (+5) and
Avery Hill at the top in par-5 scoring (-1). Crow also led the field with seven birdies and ranked second in pars with 36.
The Cru will compete in the NCAA Division III Women's Golf Championships May 13
th – 16
th at Kingsmill Resort and Spa in Williamsburg, Virginia.
