GRANBURY, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's golf team won its 10
th American Southwest Conference title Sunday, finishing the 2025 ASC Men's Golf Championship Tournament atop the leaderboard with an 882 (+18).
Cole MacMillan shot a 70 (-2) in his final round of action, earning him the individual title. MacMillan carded a 70-74-70=214 (-2) to win the individual competition.
Evan Acevedo finished fifth individually, shooting a 73 (+1) to end the tournament at 222 (+6).
William Mullin finished just behind him in sixth at +8 on the tournament, followed by Treyson Archer in eighth (+9) and
Jack Workman in ninth (+11).
Grant Carter (+21) also competed for the Cru.
LeTourneau University held in second, shooting a 289 (+1) in the final round to finish two strokes back at 884 (+20). Hardin-Simmons came in third, shooting a 901 (+37) over three rounds followed by East Texas Baptist (+44) and Howard Payne (+64).
UMHB carded five rounds of par-or-better in the tournament. The Cru led the field in par-3 scoring (+18) and par-4 scoring (+40). UMHB was also one of three teams to card an eagle, adding a second-best 41 birdies and a tournament-high 201 pars.
Acevedo led the field at -1 in par-3 scoring while MacMillan led in par-4s (+2).
Jack Workman tallied one eagle while MacMillan ranked second in the tournament with 10 birdies.
UMHB returns to action in the NCAA Division III National Championships May 20
