BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor announced the addition of Ashlyn Wachtendorf to the softball staff on Monday.
Ashlyn joins the Cru after graduating with a degree in Kinesiology in 2025 from Baylor University, where she played four years of softball. During her time at Baylor, she was named academic champion in 2023. She also has prior coaching experience with a travel softball organization out of Waco.
"I am excited to add Ashlyn to our coaching staff," said head coach Melissa Mojica. "She brings a great deal of knowledge and energy to the program. Her commitment and passion for softball will help our program excel. I am looking forward to working with her and winning championships!"
Ashlyn is the daughter of Jeff and Cassie, and has a younger brother, Tyler.
