KINGSLAND - Texas. The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team added another trophy to the fall season, winning the Texas Legends Cup today in Kingsland.
The Cru shot 327-307=634 (+58) to win the tournament. Hardin-Simmons University followed closely behind shooting 325-311=636 (+60). Southwestern University placed third, carding a 322-319=641 (+65). Schreiner University placed fourth shooting 324-325=649 (+73), followed by East Texas Baptist University in fifth with a 333-325=658 (+82).
The Cru had four players finish in the top five.
Allie Ebbeler and
Claire Smith placed tied for third at +14.
Allie Ebbeler shot 81-77=158 (+14) while
Claire Smith shot 82-76=158 (+14).
Payton Cox and
Sofia Carrasco followed, finishing tied for fifth at +15.

Sofia Carrasco shooting 82-77=159 (+15).
Ava Schone also competed for the Cru, tying for eighteenth with a card of 84-81=165 (+21).
The Cru returns to action on October 5
th in San Antonio at The Quarry, competing in the Alamo Classic hosted by Trinity University.
