BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Men's Tennis has been picked to win the 2026 American Southwest Conference Championship in the league's preseason poll, released Tuesday.
UMHB earned 15 points with three first-place votes to top the poll. East Texas Baptist came in second with 11 points, followed by Hardin-Simmons in third with 10 points and one first-place vote. Howard Payne University earned four points in the rankings.

Davi Savi were also named to the ASC Men's Tennis Players to Watch List. Langle, a senior from Cancun, Mexico, joined the Cru this fall after opening his collegiate career at Dallas Baptist University. Savi, a freshman from Florianopolis, Brazil, is in his first season at UMHB.
The Cru opens the 2026 spring season in a 1 p.m. match against McMurry University on Saturday, February 7
th.
