Claire Smith and Katie Rhude named ASC Golfers of the Week

BELTON, Texas - University of Mary Hardin-Baylor sophomores Claire Smith and Katie Rhude have been named American Southwest Conference Women's Golfers of the Week for the week ending October 6th. 

Smith and Rhude tied for second at the Tempest Invitational in Longview, Texas. Smith shot 76-77=153 (+10) and Rhude shot 78-75= 153 (+10). They both carded four birdies for the tournament. 

UMHB returns to action in the Golfweek DIII October Classic October 17-19 in Destin, Florida.
