Men’s Golf wins GreyStone Classic by 21 strokes

DICKSON, Tenn. – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Men's Golf won the GreyStone Classic by 21 strokes Tuesday in Dickson, Tennessee.
 
UMHB recorded three rounds under par, capped by a final-round 277 (-11) to finish at 842 (-22). Willamette came in second with a 863 (-1), followed by Trinity at 864 (E) and Southwestern 872 (+8). UMHB led the tournament in par-4 scoring (+9) and birdies (70).
 
Lucas Latimer was the individual winner, shooting 64 (-8) in the final round to finish at 208 (-8). His -8 in the third round is just one stroke off the program record for low-round score. Cole MacMillan finished second, shooting three consecutive rounds under par to finish -7. Colton O'Dell rounded out the top three at 211 (-5) while Liam Odell (+5) finished 15th and Carter Demske (+6) placed 16th. Evan Acevedo (+8) also competed for the Cru.
 
Latimer led the tournament in par-3 scoring at -3, followed by Odell at -2. Cole MacMillan was the leader in par-4s at -7 while Colton O'Dell ranked second in par-5 scoring at -7. Latimer was also the tournament-leader with 15 birdies.
 
UMHB returns to action in the West Region Invitational April 11th – 12th at White Bluff Golf Club in Whitney.
