BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor Acrobatics and Tumbling swept the National Collegiate Acrobatic and Tumbling Association Player of the Week awards for the week ending March 30
th.
Natalie Podsednik was named NCATA Division III Athlete of the Week. Podsednik, a senior base from Fort Worth, competed in ten heats plus team event for the Cru last week. Her performance was highlighted by six scores of 9.70 or higher, including a perfect 10 in the Open Pyramid.
Jenna Hall was named NCATA Division III Specialist of the Week. Hall, a senior top and tumbler from Houston, helped the Cru in Pyramid last week. Her performance led UMHB to a perfect 10 in Open Pyramid and a 9.65 in the Synchronized Pyramid.
Claire Willis earned NCATA Freshman of the Week. Willis, a base and tumbler from Waco, competed in five events plus team event for the Cru last week. She helped the team to a 970 in Compulsory Pyramid with a 9.65 in Synchronized Pyramid.
UMHB returns to action in the NCATA Division III Championship Tournament next week in Marshall.
