BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor senior
Alec Rule has been named American Southwest Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week for the week ending April 13
th.
Rule, a senior from Tulsa, helped the Cru to a 5-2 win last week at East Texas Baptist. Rule and doubles partner Edgar Mayorga Calva, Jr. earned a 6-3 win at No. 3 doubles, helping the Cru win the doubles point. Rule then earned a 6-2, 4-6, 6-1 win at No. 4 Doubles, securing the match victory for UMHB.
UMHB returns to action on Friday, April 17
th in a 2 p.m. contest against Howard Payne University at the Yvonne Li Tennis Courts in Belton.
