Men’s Golf finishes fourth at Dekalb Emory Invitational

CONYERS,  Ga. – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's golf team finished fourth at the Dekalb Emory Invitational Sunday in Conyers.
 
UMHB shot a 304 (+16) in the final round, finishing fourth with an 892 (+28). Emory won the tournament with an 873 (+4), followed by Sewanee (+10) and Huntingdon (+17). Transylvania rounded out the top five with a 904 (+40).
 
Lucas Latimer led the Cru with a 74 in the final round, finishing at 222 (+6) for the tournament, tied for 10th. Cole MacMillan finished eighth individually, carding a 78 (+6) in the final round and ending +5 for the tournament. Colton O'Dell carded a 228 (+12) to finish 17th, followed by Carter Demske in 24th at +15. Demske shot a 75 (+3) in the final round to move up nine spots. Cade Barone finished 26th with a +16, shooting a 77 (+5) in the final round followed by Jack Workman in 62nd at +31.
 
UMHB returns to action in the American Southwest Conference Tournament May 1st-3rd at White Bluff Resort in Whitney.
