Women’s Tennis names six to all-ASC teams; White, Nordin and Taylor earn superlatives

BELTON, Texas – University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's tennis named six athletes to the All-American Southwest Conference teams, released Tuesday. Emma Nordin, Daniel White and Breanna Taylor also won superlative awards.
 
Emma Nordin was named ASC Freshman of the Year, First Team Flight 2 Singles and First Team Flight 2 Doubles. Nordin, a freshman from Klein, went 3-0 at Flight 2 Singles and 3-0 at Flight 2 Doubles in conference play this season. She tallied overall records of 8-7 in singles play and 13-3 in doubles action. Nordin was also an ASC All-Tournament selection.
 
Breanna Taylor was named Sportsmanship Team of the Year, First Team Flight 5 Singles and First Team Flight 2 Doubles. Taylor, a freshman from Lindale, went 2-0 in Flight 5 Singles and 3-0 in Fight 2 Doubles in conference action. Taylor tallied 14 wins in doubles and 13 wins in singles this season. She was also named Most Valuable Player at the 2026 ASC Women's Tennis Championship Tournament this year.
 
Bailee Lane was named First Team Flight 3 Singles and First Team Flight 1 Doubles. Lane, a junior from Lindale, collected seven doubles wins and nine singles victories this year. She went 3-0 in ASC singles play with a 2-1 record in doubles. Lane's First Team Flight 1 Doubles honor was awarded along with partner Jolin Ha, a junior from Sugar Land.
 
Lori Bryan was named First Team Flight 4 Singles and First Team Flight 3 Doubles. Bryan earned 10 wins in singles play with a 12-2 record in doubles this season. She went undefeated in both singles and doubles against ASC opponents and was an ASC All-Tournament selection.
 
Avery Williams was named First Team Flight 6 Singles and First Team Flight 3 Doubles. Williams went undefeated in both singles and doubles play in ASC action with overall records of 13-3 and 14-2, respectively. Williams was also an ASC All-Tournament honoree.
 
Daniel White was named ASC Coach of the Year. White, a UMHB alum, guided the Cru to an undefeated mark in American Southwest Conference play with 12 total wins so far on the season. UMHB also earned the regular-season title before winning the program's first conference championship in a 4-0 win over ETBU last week.
 
This is the third all-conference award for Bryan, Ha and Lane. UMHB advances to the 2026 NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships with the bracket announcement on Monday, May 4th.
