CHAMPIONS x15! Women’s Golf wins 15th ASC title

WHITNEY, Texas – The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor women's golf team clinched the program's 15th American Southwest Conference title with a 35-stroke win at the 2026 ASC Championship Sunday in Whitney.
 
UMHB carded a 316 (+28) in the final round of action, finishing at 933 (+69). Camryn Kiser and Brooke Norman both shot a 78 (+6) in the third round, giving Kiser the individual medalist title by one stroke. Kiser finished at 230 (+14) on the tournament while Norman carded a 231 (+15). Julia Sosa rounded out the medal stand, placing third with a 236 (+20) after three rounds.
 
Katie Rhude finished with a 78 (+6) in her third round, placing sixth at 241 (+25). Izzy Crow also finished in the top ten, shooting an 82 to finish at 245 (+29). Payton Cox (+34) also competed for the Cru, finishing twelfth.
 
UC Santa Cruz finished second in the team competition, ending with a 968 (+104) with a final round of 330 (+42). Hardin-Simmons (+142) and East Texas Baptist (+160) also competed in the tournament while Howard Payne University fielded individual competitors.
 
UMHB led the tournament in par-3 scoring (+20), par-4 scoring (+99) and par-5 scoring (+18) with tournament highs in birdies (25) and pars (161). Katie Rhude was the par-3 leader at even while Kiser led in par-5s (-4) and birdies (7).
 
UMHB advances to the NCAA Division III Women's Golf National Championship May 19th – 22nd at Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, California. Kiser, Norman, Sosa and Rhude were also named to the all-tournament team.
