WILLIAMSBURG, VA - The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor men's golf team is tied for 12th after two rounds at the NCAA Preview Monday in Williamsburg.
UMHB shot a 287-290=577 (+9) to place tied for 12th after the first day. Huntingdon is in first, shooting 270-273=543 (-25). Kenyon sits in second, shooting 274-277=551 (-17) with Illinois Wesleyan following in third with a 280-276=556 (-12).
Evan Acevedo led the Cru with a career low round in round one, shooting 64 (-7) with eight birdies. Acevedo continued to stay in the red in round two, shooting 70 (-1) placing him tied for first as an individual.
Jonathon Baumann is tied for 50th shooting 145 (+3) followed by
Carter Demske in 56th shooting 146 (+4). Will Mullin shot 152 (+10) and
Jack Workman shot 153 (+11).
The Cru returns for the final round tomorrow in a 7:30 a.m. shotgun at Kingsmill Golf Course in Williamsburg.
