Biography

Jeremy has been a key reserve infielder for the Cru throughout his career, but makes the move to the pitcher’s mound this season. He could pitch his way into a spot starter’s role and will also see time out of the bullpen.

2012: Played in 12 games with seven starts … Swung for five hits, including three RBI and a .231 slug percentage. 2011: Made 11 starts in 22 games played … Scored nine runs in seven hits, including one double and four RBI. 2010: Appeared in four games for the Cru … Recorded one run and hit one homer.

Jeremy’s favorite sports teams are the Houston Astros and the Houston Texans. His career goal is to become a teacher and a coach. Jeremy enjoys listening to country music and says most people don’t know he was valedictorian of his high school class. Jeremy’s can’t miss television show is Workaholics and his favorite movie is Ace Ventura Pet Detective.  He credits his parents for having the biggest influence on him as a person and an athlete.

Jeremy is studying mathematics at UMHB. He was an all-district baseball player at Caney Creek High School where he also lettered in basketball and football. Jeremy is the son of Allan and Virginia Sapp.
