Biography

Ariel will have a chance to be the Cru’s third starting pitcher this season after serving mainly in a bullpen role last year. She could also earn some at-bats as a reserve infielder. Ariel is the only lefty on the pitching staff and was one of the first pitchers out of the bullpen last year. She went 1-0 with a 2.80 ERA in seven appearances. Ariel also went 1-2 as a pinch-hitter. She earned a victory in relief against Texas Lutheran and allowed two or fewer hits in six of her seven appearances. Ariel was an All-District softball player at Little Elm High School. She also lettered in volleyball. Ariel is majoring in art at UMHB. She is the daughter of Shelly and Phil Kemmerer and her older sister, Angel, plays soccer at UMHB.
