Biography

Laura is a gifted and versatile player who will have a chance to make an immediate impact for the Cru this season. She can play all four infield positions and will have a chance to see time at all four of those spots. Laura is challenging for a starting job at one of the middle infield spots and will provide depth across the infield. She will also have a chance to see time as a pinch-hitter and pinch-runner for the Cru this year. Laura was an All-District and All-Area softball player at Taft High School in San Antonio. Laura is majoring in nursing at UMHB. She is the daughter of Cathleen and Rosario Rodriguez.
