Seth is a talented offensive player and two-year starter at second base. He should once again claim the starting job at that position and should be one of the top offensive threats for the Cru this season.

2012: Started in 37 games for the Cru … Second-Team All-West Division honoree … Swung for 40 hits, including eight doubles, three homers and 18 RBI … Scored 27 runs and stole 17 bases. 2011: Started in 29 of 30 games played … Honorable Mention All-West Division selection … Recorded 31 hits, including two homers and five doubles … Batted-in seven runs with a slug percentage of .408.

Seth’s favorite professional sports team is the Boston Red Sox and his favorite athletes are Dustin Pedroia and Cru outfielder Chris Florack. Seth chose UMHB because of its strong athletic programs and academics. He enjoys hunting, fishing and hanging out with family when he’s not playing baseball, listening to country music and says most people don’t know that he rides horses. Seth credits his dad for being the biggest influence on him as both a person and an athlete.

Seth is an exercise and sport science major at UMHB. He was an all-district baseball and football player at Robinson High School. Seth also spent two seasons playing fullback for the Cru football team and played one year of baseball at Weatherford Junior College. Seth is the son of Butch and Robin Mogavero.
