Biography

2014: Missed some of season due to injury… played in 37 games for the Cru … recorded 36 hits for a .396 batting average … added four runs and three RBI … Stole five bases as a runner … recorded 34 putouts and one assist. 2013: Second Team All-West Division … played in 42 games with 36 starts … scored 19 runs with 28 hits, seven RBI and one in-the-park home run … stole five bases and grabbed 27 putouts. 2012: Second Team All-West Division and ASC West Division Freshman of the Year … batted .382 with 13 RBI … scored 22 runs and stole seven bases.

Janie is an interdisciplinary studies major at UMHB. She was a four-time Female Athlete of the Year recipient at Franklin High School, where she participated in volleyball, basketball, softball, track and cheerleading. Janie was a four-time all-district selection in softball and qualified for the state track meet as a hurdler. She is the daughter of Wade and Jennifer Neyland.
