2018: Spring All-Academic Team … hit .313 with 36 hits … drove in 18 runs and scored 15 … totaled 46 bases with seven extra-base slams … fielded .857 with 31 putouts and 47 assists.  2017: Spring Academic All-Conference Team… Honorable Mention All-ASC … played and started in 37 games… led the Cru with 48 hits and a .336 batting average… drove in 20 runs and scored 14 more… has 29 putouts and 70 assists. 2016: Played in 15 contests with five starts … recorded five hits in 31 at-bats … hit one double and drove in two runs … added 16 assists and 11 putouts.

Mitch is a finance major at UMHB. He played baseball at Magnolia High School, where he was also a member of Mu Alpha Theta math club. Mitch played one semester of college baseball at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. He is the son of Scott and Debbie Patterson.
