The University of Mary Hardin-Baylor has two Athletic Training Rooms: the Robert and Linda Black Athletic Training Room in the Mayborn Campus Center and the Dr. Henry "Hank" Mayer Athletic Training Room in Cummins Field House.
Each Athletic Training Room is well equipped and fully stocked for the sports that they serve. Each location boasts a hydrotherapy room, offices for staff Athletic Trainers, equipment storage and a variety of the latest modality equipment.
The Robert and Linda Black Athletic Training Room serves court sports including Volleyball and Men’s/Women’s Basketball. The facility is nearly 800 square feet and has 4 treatment tables with 4 taping stations.Â
The Dr. Henry "Hank" Mayer Athletic Training Room is housed in the Cummins Field House and covers approximately 1700 square feet. This facility serves Men’s and Women’s Soccer, Football, Tennis, Baseball and Softball.
Each Athletic Training Room is equipped with the following modalities:
·        Ultrasound / Electrical Stimulators
·        Hydrocollators – hot and cold
·        Compression units
·        Non thermal light Laser
·        Whirlpools – various sizes
·        Ice machines
Each Athletic Training Room is equipped with the following Rehabilitation Equipment:
·        Orthotron
·        Stationary Bikes
·        Treadmill
·        Rebounders
·        Body Blades
·        Upper Body Ergometer
·        Cybex Isokinetic testing
Each Athletic Training Room is equipped with the following Emergency Equipment:
·        Automatic External Defibrillators
·        Spine boards
·        Med Bed Gator
·        Various splinting devices
·        Oxygen delivery
·        Bag Valve Masks
