2022: Academic All-ASC selection … made 13 mound appearances with two starts … threw 35.2 innings … earned win over Concordia Texas (April 9) ... recorded save against Howard Payne (April 29) … threw 16 strikeouts. 2021: ASC All-Academic Team ... made 12 mound appearances with four starts ... earned wins against Southwestern (March 30) and McMurry (April 17) ... threw 15 strikeouts. 2020: Made four mound appearances ... threw 12.1 innings with eight earned runs allowed ... struck out four batters ... season cut short due to COVID-19.  
 
Alex is a biology major at UMHB. He was a four-year baseball letter winner and all-state tournament selection.  Alex was also on the Honor Roll. He is the son of Kathleen Palczewski and is married to Grace (Thompson).
