2025: Academic All-ASC …Played in 20 games with 16 starts … hit .333 with 19 hits and nine runs scored … added three doubles and one home run … drove in five runs … totaled 26 bases with four stolen bases … fielded .977 with 20 putouts and 23 assists. 

Austin is a finance major at UMHB. He attended Plano West Senior High School, where he played baseball. During his tenure there, Austin earned 6A second team all-district along with an academic all-state recognition. Austin began his collegiate career at the University of Dallas making a stop at Lamar Community College before attending UMHB. He is the son of Wendy Scribner and Del Birkhoff.
