2015: Second Team All-ASC selection … NCBWA National Hitter of the Week (April 2) … tied the ASC single game record for base hits in a game with six (March 28) … played in 38 games with 33 starts … batted .328 with 43 hits … scored 23 runs and batted in 29 more … recorded 13 doubles, two triples and two home runs … totaled 66 bases, 62 putouts and five assists. 2014: Second Team All-ASC … played in 43 games with 42 starts … hit .380 with 48 hits … scored 26 runs and batted in 35 more … hit 12 doubles and three homeruns … led the team with 14 stolen bases … posted 85 outs with three errors for a .968 fielding percentage. 2013: Made 34 starts in 38 games played … batted .321 with 42 hits, including six extra-base hits … Scored 28 runs and added 13 RBI … stole 10 bases in 16 attempts.
 
Chase is studying sport management at UMHB. He competed in baseball, football, basketball, track and cross country at Groesbeck High School, where he was a two-time all-district baseball player and all-state quarterback. Chase also earned all-academic in all sports and was involved in UIL, Student Council, Theater, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and National Honor Society. He is the son of Stephen and Donna Burrow.
