Biography

Chris claimed First Team ASC All-West Division honors last season after hitting .380 with two home runs and 31 RBI. He ranked among the team leaders in batting average, hits, extra base hits and RBI. Chris split last year between catcher and DH and he should do the bulk of the catching for UMHB again this season. He has been a three-year starter, but his 2009 campaign ended early because of injuries. Chris was an All-State baseball player at Rogers High School where he played for the Eagles state champion team. He also lettered in football and basketball.
