Garrett is a switch-hitting newcomer who should make an immediate impact this season. He enters the year as the favorite to earn the starting job at third base.

Garrett’s favorite professional sports team is the Texas Rangers and his favorite professional athlete is Lance Berkman. Garrett hopes to become a baseball coach someday and chose UMHB because of the opportunity to play college baseball. Garrett enjoys listening to George Strait and says most people don’t know he was born in New Mexico. Garrett likes to hunt and fish when he’s not playing baseball and his favorite food is shrimp.

Garrett is studying exercise and sport science at UMHB. He was an all-district baseball player at Brenham High School. Garrett is the son of Tim and Leslie Webb.
