2024: Made seven mound appearances … earned a 2.45 ERA in 11 innings pitched … threw six straight scoreless innings in four appearances … threw two perfect innings against Southwestern (April 2) … struck out nine total batters … gave up just eight hits in 41 batters faced. 

2023: Spent the season developing as a pitcher.

Gavan is a mechanical engineering major at UMHB. He played baseball at Gateway College Prep. Gavan was an all-district selection and earned the Golden Arm Award. He is the son of Grant and Sandy Hutton.
