Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Gunner is beginning his freshman season with UMHB. He chose UMHB because he wanted to play baseball for the Cru. He plays to join the military after college. Gunner’s pregame rituals are playing X-box and listening to Randy Travis. If Gunner could win an Olympic gold medal, he’d chose canoe slalom and if he could trade places with a professional athlete, he’d be Tiger Woods. Gunner’s dream vacation is a hunting trip to New Zealand. His most memorable sports moment was hitting a game-winning grand slam against Brenham H.S. in high school.

Gunner is a finance major at UMHB. He participated in football and baseball at Montgomery High School, where he was named all-district. Gunner is the son of Karey and London Vaught.
