2025: ABCA Third Team All-Region X … ASC Pitcher of the Year … ASC Co-Freshman of the Year … First Team All-ASC … Academic All-ASC … ranked second in the conference with a 2.74 ERA against conference opponents … threw a 3.88 on the season … made 11 mound appearances with nine starts … earned seven wins … threw 51.0 innings with just 22 earned runs … threw 35 strikeouts and allowed only nine extra bases … gave up just 61 hits on 209 at-bats. 

Kolby is a sport management student at UMHB. He attended Midway High School, where he played baseball. He was awarded first team all-district pitcher, Midway High School Pitcher of the Year and ranked sixth in the state for wins through 6A TXHSBaseball. He was a two-time academic all-district honoree and was awarded second team academic all-state. Kolby was also a member of National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and was a student representative for the MHS District Tech Committee. He is the son of Kristen and Jimmy McBee.
