2021: Honorable Mention All-ASC ... ASC All-Academic team ... batted .353 on the season ... totaled 48 hits with 11 doubles, three triples and a team-high seven home runs ... scored 20 runs and drove in 29 more ... stole 10 bases ... led the Cru with 31 putouts as the starting first baseman. 2020: Started in all 15 games ... hit .308 with 16 hits ... scored eight runs and batted in 10 ... slammed six doubles and two home runs ... added 112 putouts ... season cut short due to COVID-19. 2019: Spring All-Academic Team …batted .276 with 32 hits and four home runs … scored 21 runs and batted in 14 … fielded 25 putouts with 18 assists. 2018: Honorable Mention All-ASC … Played in 30 games … hit .318 with 28 hits and 19 runs scored … batted-in 16 runs and slammed five home runs … fielded .947 with 87 putouts. 

Malek is a mechanical engineering major at UMHB. He played baseball and basketball at Chisholm Trail High School, where he was a two-time all-district selection, two-time academic all-district honoree and academic all-state recipient. Malek was also a member of National Honor Society. He is the son of Chris Bolin and Lesley Barrett.
