Biography

2022: Academic All-ASC selection … made two mound appearances … struck out two batters. 2021: ASC All-Academic Team ... made six mound appearances with nine strikeouts.  2020: Season cut short due to COVID-19.  
 
Russell is a chemistry major at UMHB. He played baseball and basketball at Hyde Park High School. Russell was named Team MVP, Newcomer of the Year and Top Pitcher. He was also a two-time academic all-state selection. Russell also participated in Younglife and Mu Alpha Theta. He is the son of Chris and Brooke Vadala.
