Trey is a rangy, experienced left-hander who worked his way into a bullpen role for the Cru last season. He should once again see significant time out of the bullpen this year.

2012: Made four appearances on the mound … Recorded a 4.91 ERA with two earned runs and three strikeouts.

Trey’s favorite professional sports team is the New York Yankees and his favorite professional athlete is Mariano Rivera. Trey came to UMHB because of his athletic and academic opportunities at the university. His career goal is to be an astronaut. Trey enjoys playing video games when he’s not on the baseball field and can’t miss an episode of Workaholics.

Trey is studying business marketing at UMHB. He was a district MVP baseball player at Reisel High School, where he also competed in football and basketball. Trey is the son of Buddy and Vicki Swartzenberg.
