Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Tyler joined the Cru this spring and will have a chance to make a major impact. He could claim the starting designated hitter’s job and also provides depth in the catching rotation.

Tyler’s favorite sports team is the Houston Texans and his favorite professional athlete is J.J. Watt. Tyler chose UMHB because he felt it was a good school with good athletic programs. His career goal is to be a coach someday. Tyler can’t believe he watches Pretty Little Liars and his favorite food is Chinese. Tyler credits his mom as having the biggest influence on him as a person and an athlete.

Tyler is studying history at UMHB. He was a four-year baseball letterman and two-time all-district catcher at Waco High School. Tyler is the son of Andy and Angelora Fife.
