2023: Academic All-ASC selection … made four mound appearances. 2022: Academic All-ASC selection … made nine mound appearances with wins over Trinity (March 22) and Southwestern (March 29) … threw 17 innings with a 3.18 ERA … gave up just six earned runs … struck out 13 batters. 2021: ASC All-Academic Team ...  threw 21 innings with wins over Schreiner (March 16), Sul Ross State (April 2) and Southwestern (April 20) ... surrendered just 12 earned runs with 11 strikeouts. 2020: Made one mound appearance ... season cut short due to COVID-19.  
 
Zach is studying chemistry at UMHB. He played baseball at Reagan High School, where he earned academic all-district honors. Zach was also a member of NHS, HOSA and Mu Alpha Theta. He is the son of Ben and Blythe Carroll.
