Biography

2024: Academic All-ASC … played in 10 games … totaled 22 tackles with 13 solo takedowns … added two tackles for five yards lost … added one sack and one pass breakup. 

Layden is a nursing major at UMHB. He was an all-district football and baseball player at Dickinson High School, earning the distinction five times. Layden was also a three-time all-county selection and earned DHS Football MVP, Gator Heart Award, DHS Most Valuable Defensive Player and Newcomer of the Year. Layden also served as team captain in both football and baseball. He is the son of JoJo and Kimber Roque.
