2024: Academic All-ASC ... competed in three meets ... ran a 17:29.0 at the Stormy Seas Opener (5K) ... ran a season-best 28:16.2 at DBU Old Glory Gallop (8k).

2023: Academic All-ASC … ran in five meets … recorded a season-low 28:46.9 at the DBU Old Glory Gallop (8K).

Alfredo is a mechanical engineering major at UMHB. He participated in cross country, football, basketball, powerlifting and track at Brownfield High School. Alfredo was a four-time all-district, all-region and all-area selection in cross country and track. He also received Cross Country MVP runner, fighting heart and co-MVP awards. Alfredo was in the Spanish Honor Society and on the A/B Honor Roll. He also participated in band. Alfredo is the son of Karina Vasquez and Jose A. Lozano.
