Biography
Ames is studying business at UMHB. He played tennis, golf and basketball at London High School, earning 11 varsity letters. Ames was a four-time district champion in tennis, also earning the state title with two top-three state finishes. He was also a two-time regional champion with one runner-up title. Ames was named All-South Texas Tennis Player of the Year and All-South Texas Singles Tennis Player of the Year. Ames also earned a trio of academic awards and participated in FCA and TOKC. He is the son of Reese and Danielle Buchanan.
