2024-25: ASC Co-Newcomer of the Year … First Team All-ASC … went 11-6 overall … earned six wins at #2 singles … added five wins at #3 singles … added eight wins in doubles.

Fernando is an entrepreneurship student at UMHB obtaining his minor in sports management. He played four years of varsity tennis at Reagan High School. Fernando earned his associate's degree at San Antonio College and made a stop at St. Mary's University before transferring to UMHB. He is the son of Fernando Andrade Cantu and Veronica Lorena Villarreal.
