2019: Second Team All-ASC … ASC All-Academic Honor Roll … Started in 42 games … hit .312 with 39 hits … recorded five extra-base slams and led the Cru with seven home runs … scored 23 runs and batted-in 29 … recorded 43 putouts and 74 assists. 2018: Second Team All-ASC … Spring All-Academic Team … played in 32 games as a utility player … hit .313 on the year with 20 hits … slammed four doubles and three home runs … Scored 17 runs and batted in 16 … added 70 putouts and 11 assists.   2017: Played 19 games with one start… batted .500 with one hit, nine runs and two RBI… had seven putouts.

Avery is a pre-physical therapy major at UMHB. She was a four-year letter winner in basketball and softball at Georgetown High School, where she helped her team to a state championship in basketball her freshman year. Avery was also a four-time all-district basketball player and served as team captain her junior and senior years. In softball, Avery was a four-time all-district selection, two-time regional semifinalist and served as Student Athlete Representative for the State of Texas UIL rules committee. Avery was also a four-time academic all-district selection and two-time academic all-state honoree. She is the daughter of Jen Kelly.
