Biography

2016: Played in 23 games for the Cru with 12 starts … batted .171 with seven hits … added two runs and drove in six more. 2015: Key pinch-hitter for UMHB off the bench …hit in 20 games with a .269 batting average …had seven hits with six runs and three RBI in 26 at bats.

Bailey is an education major at UMHB and wants to become a math teacher and coach. She was an all-state and academic all-state softball player at Mount Vernon High School, where she also played volleyball and basketball. Bailey’s softball honors also include all-East Texas, all-district catcher, Most Valuable Player and Defensive Most Valuable Player. She was also a member of FFA, FCA, 4H, Spanish Club, Rotary Club and the Dairy Judging Team. Bailey is the daughter of Tony and Dana Bohlken.
