Hollie is a utility player who runs and can swing the bat well.

Hollie’s favorite professional sports team is the Houston Astros and her favorite athlete is Craig Biggio. Hollie enjoys listening to the Josh Abbott Band and watching Duck Dynasty or Pretty Little Liars. She enjoys scuba diving when she’s not playing softball and says her sister has had the biggest influence on her as a person and an athlete. Hollie hopes to become a political analyst for Fox News someday and says most people don’t know that she is a black belt in Tae Kwon Do. Hollie chose UMHB because of its solid Christian environment.

Hollie is studying communications at UMHB. She was a four-time all-district softball player at St. Joseph’s, where she also competed in volleyball, track and cheerleading. Hollie was also named the TAPPS Female Athlete of the Year. She is the daughter of Dr. Scott and Sharon Chennault and a transfer from Blinn College.
