Biography

2014: Played in 35 games with 23 starts … hit .270 with 17 hits, one triple and three RBI … added 10 runs and stole three bases … recorded 20 putouts for a .952 fielding percentage. 2013: Second Team All-West Division … started in 41 of 42 games played … recorded 25 runs and 40 hits, including two doubles, two triples and 12 RBI … added 27 putouts. 2012: Honorable Mention All-West Division … batted .324 with 12 RBI … second on team in bases stolen with nine.

Leanne is an exercise and sport science major at UMHB. She was a three-time all-district softball player and named District Utility Player of the Year at Edinburg High School, where she also competed in volleyball. Leanne was also participated in UIL Literary Criticism and PAWS. She is the daughter of Ruben and Diana Hinojosa.
