Mary Haridin-Baylor Athletics

Lindsey has been a valuable member of the Cru catching rotation in each of the past three seasons. Injuries could limit her throwing early in the season, but Lindsey will compete for playing time at designated player. She will also be counted on to contribute as a pinch-hitter and pinch-runner. Lindsey batted .261 last season with six RBI. She played in 27 games and started 10 and tied for second on the team with four stolen bases. She also had three multiple RBI games for the Cru. Lindsey was an Academic All-ASC Selection last season. Lindsey was fourth on the team in batting average as a sophomore, hitting .328. Lindsey batted .298 as a freshman and drove in a career-high 12 runs that season. She is 13-13 in her career on stolen base attempts. Lindsey was an All-District softball player and Team MVP at Stratford High School. She is a sport management major at UMHB. Lindsey is the daughter of Melissa and Bill Thorne and Paul Gordon.
